TV and Broadband packages

Currently with BT on 38MB, BT vision and home 'phone, but the monthly bill seems to just keep creeping up.

Anyone using Plusnet/Sky/Talk Talk/EE/A N Other that they would like to recommend or warn me away from?

Do they not yet offer triple play bundles: mobile/internet/TV?

I still don't understand why there's a limit on fixed data in the UK.

Plusnet is owned by BT so I would assume it's the same.

There usually isn't

I've got sky broadband & landline (was o2 who sold to sky) and I'm not happy.
Apart from being connected via the evil empire, costs creep up, speeds creep down and customer service is abysmal.

I'd swap now but I'm thinking of moving soon so avoiding new contract..

I've been looking at this lately for my Uncle, who now in his 70s, has been a long term Sky customer, he's paying through the nose for broadband, sports and other stuff he never watches.

I've been looking at all these different internet based packages and I just don't think the market is mature enough yet, there is no single vendor who can provide all services in a quality manner, one or more parts of rhe service suffer where others may deliver to your expectations.

Personally, i'll never move from Zen internet for home broadband, I'm with BT for calls and Sky for pay per view, i'm thinking of moving my calls to Zen as we hardly ever use the home phone, that leaves me with TV, my broadband is just about quick enough to stream HD, so I'm on tje fence waiting for a decent independent set top pvr that can provide content from all media vendors in an a la carte fashion, I watch about 5 channels of TV, everything else is fluff.

If I could subscribe to just those channels vua the internet then happy days.

I have EE and they supply my broaband, TV and home phone (they also boost your data to 10GB on your mobile if you have a contract with them) the TV box is decent but I don't get fibre where I am at the minute but the speeds can be a hit and miss for me.

We're on TalkTalk for phone, broadband & tv, no problems in about 6 years of been with them .
