Wave iPod Classic : RIP

After almost 13 years the iPod Classic signs off R.I.P. iPod Classic: Apple quietly kills the iPod Classic | What Hi-Fi?

My Black iPod 30GB bought in June '06 is still alive & spends it's life permanently in my Alfa I can't remember the last time I synced it with iTunes, it's at least a year & probably more

I replaced the battery once years ago & the the headphone socket is faulty but neither of those are issues as it's connected via an Alfa iPod kit

Shame, had mine for years and there aren't many with larger capacities.

Still got a iPod Video (4th gen????) going strong as my in car player, have tried my iphone 4S with cooked radio chip and no discernable difference in sound quality, will go back to the old timer and put the 4S in a drawer somewhere until a use can be found.

Still got a Creative Nomad Jukebox that works everytime I fire it up, collectors item one day that.

Rio Carbon Pearl 6 GB MP3 Player, still charges and looks very nice thank you.

Don't have a use for it at moment with iPod and iPhone holding much of my music.

See you on Antiques Roadshow in a few years.

There are some on ebay, the amount of bidders on the classics is unreal, one has 28 bids.

Luckily the classic was built very well and should last a good few years.

Mine is probably 10 years old nearly and I've not done anything to it, although when we were on holiday it did refuse to charge - could have been the dodgy Cape verdian electrics. Can't find it since we got home to try it on good old English electricity
