Cracked Screen

So the Mrs dropped her phone and it's cracked the screen. It landed on an upturned plug so it's not a massive amount of damage but the screen is going to be replaced.

Phone is a Sony Xperia z1

So can anyone recommend somewhere that will do it? How much am I looking at?

I found a screen for 60 quid is it a diy job or not worth the risk?

Sent off for some quotes so hopefully hear back tomorrow also going to give timpson a ring in the morning.

Thank you in advance

Just an update.

The Mrs found a local bloke of Facebook that would do it for£110 but wanted the unlock password which seemed dodgy so ruled that out. I've found a company that will do it for £140 with 12 months warranty it will still be waterproof they will pick it up on Monday and it will be back Wednesday. If it was a different phone it would be half the price.

Diy is possible but it looks a pig of a job if it was my phone I'd give it a go.

I dropped my phone 1 hour after opening the box. Nokia drop test their phones twice on each side/corner/face from 1.5m on concrete and mine dropped from 1m so I phoned the network up (bought as an upgrade), pointed out the phone was faulty because of this and they sent a couriered replacement next day. New one, albeit in a case, has been dropped a few times but still looks like new with a rub of any dust marks that build up.
