I've just fixed Halibuts laptop

Halibut is back from Germany, great to see him again.

He dropped off his laptop for an overhall in my shop in Derby, thought I would share the results.

Symptoms were: Loose power socket (Only charged with the charger plug bent at a certain angle) and the laptop was overheating.

The positive pin had snapped off the back of the power socket and this was replaced with a brand new one.

The heatsink was blocked resulting in no air flow. We cleaned this out and applied fresh thermal paste.

All happy now.

I've got all of the most common power sockets for replacement. It normally involves completely stripping down the laptop and removing the motherboard. What makes are they?
