Bluetooth is very short range.
Which I don't think will be a problem because this amp seems to highlight the issue of
the bad source that are my MP3s and audio over Bluetooth from a budget telephone.
Right, to the TataCave to retrieve some CDs and hook it up to the DVD player......!
Test music:
Joshua Tree
Best of the Clash
Misplaced Childhood
Imagine Dragons
Excellent choice, some of my favourite tracks are "With Or Without You" & "In God's Country" I was listening to "The Best Of 1980 -1990" today in the car
To be fair to my lovely little MSs they do not seem so "toppy" to me.
But overall the sound seems well rounded.
(I'm no audiophile or expert BTW.)
For me it's a cool looking small footprint amp that'll also connect to
every sound playing gadget I have:
Android Phone,
Samsung Galaxy S4 TV remote,
Intel NUC, (Which sound really good BTW)
and DVD player.
I'll be checking one of these out at my local Richer Sounds any day now... comparing with various Sonos options.
I have a main system with a valve pre-amp which I'm thinking of adding Sonos connect to for streaming, I also have a really naff hitachi mini stack with dab radio in my kitchen which I'd like to replace with either a Sonos play something-or-other OR maybe the fatman subject of this thread and some suitable speakers.
Following a test listen (and attempt at getting my head round fatman/Sonos compatibility issues?), there will be a tag wrestling match between my ears, heart, head and wallet for a decision
sock drying capability has been noted in the fatman 'pros' column:thumbs:
I'm not sure if they're in production still so: "Collector's item" too ...
