Isn't it a subscription service now?

I think they're doing it for $10/month (inc Lightroom) at the moment.

Otherwise try and find an older version of PS still for sale?

what/who is MS. Are you using a Mac or windoze. The unis usually use Apple Macs. There are ways to achieve PS ownership.

Ah thats handy if its monthly subscriptions, all she found out was that its a one of payment of 120, but if its only $10 per month that will suit her finances

She has windows 8

Her tutor has told her a mac would be better as you are correct in saying that uni's are using macs for this course and they can give her the software. I have a mac but i need it and im not swapping with her windows laptop, yes she has already suggested that

cs2 has all the fundementals. I should think the uni will be teaching them to crawl first. One thing about PS is that it likes to spool back and forth with the Hdd.

If the laptop has USB 3, you could buy an external hdd and use that as a scratch disc. USB 2 will do though.

Hi CSR, I have recently started using adobe deal. 8.90 per month gives me PhotoShop CC and Lightroom 5 and have them both on my main pc as well as my laptop. Works great and it will be a few years before I have spent what the software would have cost the old way!

Don't leave it too long as this deal is limited. Can't recall when it ends but I think its this month.
