Guys any decent recommendations for ipod headphones? I use the bud ones when commuting but if im chilling i would prefer the proper ones that cover the ears.

I bought one of their TVs so they keep reminding me of their "gift ideas" like these. I've got some of these Earphones & Earset 3i
They are beautiful but I find my Ferrari earplug ones have better sound as they are bud type.

These fit in your ears so you don't have to do that
Scuderia Ferrari S100i Red earphones - Ferrari Store
You get different size "plugs" so you get the depth without having to hold them in.

I used to work in PC world, and I bought myself a pair of headphones endorsed that were endorsed by tinchy Stryder (a rapper or someone). I didn't want to break the bank and wanted a decent set of over ear headphones. Nothing stupidly expensive like Bose or Beats. They are a good sound, though lacking compared to the beats on the low end bass (expected)

Go check out a pair.

Buy GOJI TINCHY Stryder Headphones - Black | Free Delivery | Currys

Looks like they will do the job, i listen to indie or rick so low end bass isnt important

Sennheiser MM 450X with both Bluetooth & noise-cancelling have been really useful since I got a pair.

Sounds good. I always remember recognising the Sennheisers we had when I was a child. They were being used in a Tv studio. Just did a search for HD414 http://www.ebay.com/itm/vintage-Senn...-/111241937197

Have always gone for them by default since I can remember.

Not cheap, but a good compromise between price and quality.
This latest pair can even be used as a phone headset as it has a mic.

The diaphragm assembly in a pair of Sennheiser 414's was actually from a dynamic microphone, the Sennheiser D12 (much beloved of sound engineers as a kick drum mic.)

So, you could put sound in it and get a voltage out of it, or you could put a voltage into it and get sound out of it. I kinda like the symmetry of that .

Well , you learn something new every day. It's not that different from the relationship of a dynamo to a motor though?

After lots of research, I just got some AKG K451 over ear headphones. They are superb and far better then many others at two to three times the price.

They'll generally sound a lot better than something endorsed by a crackheaded rapper on gazillions of commission.

I've got a pair of these QuietComfort 3 Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones | Bose

And a pair of these Grado SR80i review from the experts at whathifi.com

I prefer the Grado's for sound quality but you're hardly listening in privacy with the open back design. The noise cancelling in the Bose is a bit of a gimmick.
