Ipod classic 5th generation battery.

I was given an iPod classic 5th generation or click wheel. The battery is dead and wont charge. Has anyone actually changed a battery by themselves, I've seen you tube videos and it looks straight forward enough.

Battery changed and now all is cool. Battery was a fiver and also included the tool for opening the ipod.

Took 5 minutes, the tricky bit was finding a gap to insert the plastic tool. Once I got the edge in I just slid the tool all the way round. If I can retrieve the old battery I will post a pic. It was really bubbled up and lucky it never leaked into the circuit board.
