CD music ripping to Hard Drive

Is there a product that does this without using a computer? I just want to tidy up a bit without losing the albums !

This is one I've heard of - as you can see, it's out of stock though.

Not sure if there are other similar solutions.

There are plenty.

Start by Googling the following

Cocktail Audio x10

Brennan Audio

Zen Vortexbox

Naim Unitiserve

None of them are German so you should be able to buy with clear conscience.

What sort of budget?
Cheapest would be vortexbox on an old PC (headless) and probably most flexible.
Brennan for example is good but limited in some respects and expensive.
What format do you wish to rip to?

What is your objection to using a PC btw?
You could rip on the PC but store the music on a NAS which will make it available for other devices to use. Have you any experience of audio streaming?

If you bought much of your collection from Amazon then it may already be ripped for you:

Amazon AutoRip

I'm a fan, and user, of Amazon Auto-rip and cosider a great way to acess music for portable use but wouldn't see it as an archiving solution given that files are compressed mp3.

The ripping solutions mentioned will all give FLAC or other lossless formats which with decent audio kit will make a discernible difference.
