Help Crap mobile phone wanted

My never trusty old and crap Nokia C1 is heading for the bin after a week and a bit of unreliable nastiness (on top of it being a functional wasteland at the best of times).

So, I have the task of replacing it. I have some very simple requirements, and I seek the sage advice of my excellent colleagues here.

My requirements as follows:
  1. Must be cheap to purchase - I demand PAYG
  2. I would like a reasonable camera on it - 3mp or similar would do
  3. I wouldn't mind picking up emails every now and then
  4. I have developed a hatred for predictive texting thru the C1 - so Qwerty is essential
  5. It must not be the size of a Corsa
  6. Decent battery life would be handy.

I had previously only considered physical qwerty keyboards but I have been looking at the huawei ascend y201 which is entry level smart phone territory, and uses a touch screen qwerty.

I've not been able to try one out yet - does anyone have any thoughts. I know it's not the same, but I tried my bairns new nexus 7 touchscreen keypad the other day and it was nothing short of brilliant.

Would the phone cope with fat fingers and vice versa? I can pick one of these up for £59 on tesco mobile (in white only ):

android 2.3.5 but upgradeable to 4
3.2MP camera

Any alternatives that people might mention?

Smart phones these days aren't known for great battery life unfortunately but if I was in your shoes I would buy a 2nd hand smart phone over on avforums and you will have what you want and more.

You can extend battery life considerably by turning off 3G until you need it.

The amplification kills the battery.

I live where there is no 3G and I have WiFi in my house so data requirements are really low.

My iPhone 4 lasts a couple of days despite being 3 years out of date.
