I remember my father in laws first. A suitcase battery & a proper handset.

In 1986 I recall driving to Brum with an estate agent pal of mine to get one of the first hand helds.

They went small (my Ericsson T39m) & are now big again. But, I'd find it hard to live without one

I remember those too. A salesman came to our Office & we all OO'd & ahh'd over it. Everybody thought it was great, how little we knew.
