Aftermarket ink cartidges...

Does anyone know if using aftermarket ink cartridges would cause communication errors between PC & printer?

I do get a warranty warning on the display, but it's a few years old now anyhoo...

I have been using aftermarket cartridges in my Canon printer for ages with no issues.

I wouldn't have thought it would have cased a problem.

Mostly they have been fine in my experience as long as they come with the chip if needed. If you have to transfer the chips, they are useless.

I use them with no problems in my Canon printers. The only cartridges that are Canon ones are the photo ink ones. The others are from Tesco, Premiere Ink o 7dayshop.

I use Moreinks for my Canon, from Amazon.

I get good results and they're cheap .

I think they are the ones I use.

I can't really tell much difference in print quality even on photos, however they don't seem to last as long as the originals.

But when you can get 2 sets of all 5 cartridges for around 12 all in I am not going to complain too much.

My printer is a Pixma IP3600 BTW
