Thumbs Up TV Signal Boosters

I'm on a BT Vision package I like the kit the internet speed is OK for what I use one small fly in the oinkment.

The TV signal is a bit crappy in bad weather, in the recent bad snow we lost it altogether

So does anyone know of or has used a decent tv signal booster I don't mind shelling out a few bob for summat that actually works

Are you sure it's not the aerial itself Tony?

Not been up a ladder and looked at it Jim, but I did get some funny looks of the new neighbours when I was out in the back garden with the 300mm zoom on the camera

The aerial looks ok and is a similar type to the neighbours and it's pointing in the right direction.

Did the usual stuff like shorten the co axial cable from the input point in the living room to the TV but it has made very little difference.

and it's a brand new co axial lead

I don't really want to buy a signal tester

We have one in our house that is very good, if it isn't switched on there's practically no terrestrial signal, switch it on and it's bang on.

Also works with Radio Signals

Buyer Beware: I don't think the manufacturer exists anymore

Get a YOUVIEW box and since you've got a decent Broadband signal, forget about the live TV and use the box instead.

We have a masthead amplifier on ours, relatively easy to fit, and not too expensive.

Couldn't tell you the manufacturer, but maplin or a local DIY store will most likely stock them.
