As do I, although I am consudering a MAC to replace my existing PC. I'll need to see what the coffers hold after Christmas though.

Apple for me, based purely on ease of use, reliability, apps & customer service experience

I have an apple phone, and have had since the 3G.

I had a Samsung laptop in the past which, whilst it was good and well put together, didn't last too long, suffering from a famous Nvidia graphics failure, which rendered it completely useless.

I've recently bought an android tablet, and must say, I'm thinking of trying a Samsung smartphone next, owing to pure usability

However, Apple has much better customer service....

On my 2nd Samsung phone, not one of these fancy smart ones though. I'll be replacing it with anything but another Samsung - rubbish battery life on what is a pretty basic phone and random shut-downs half way through calls make me question the build quality.
Despite having lots of Apple kit at home, it's replacement won't be an iPhone either, far too expensive. Having played with a Nokia Lumia 610 the other day I quite fancy one of the new Lumia 620 on Windows 8.

They are just tools, choose the one that does what you want to do in the way that you are most comfortable with.

HTC phonewise, works well and great customer service. Dell XPS laptop, more bang for your buck than a MacBook and about 18 months on still blisteringly fast.

I bought a mac and a Samsung laptop around the same time. The Mac is superb whilst the laptop is very very slow. Therefore, my vote for apple. When you have a Mac, you don't look back. I just thought of that. Do you like it?

You'll not get told you wasted your money if you buy a Samsung. Then again, the boss's boss has been evaluating phones and was showing me the latest Samsung. Took a couple of photos then spent five minutes trying to find out how to show them to me. He's now chosen iPhones for the company, replacing cranberries.

Samsung for me. Their range of products are impressive, from hard-drives to fridge freezers. Great prices to too

Can't comment on Samsung, but my HTC started off well, but soon slowed right down, and is very poor now. I think the issue is the android operating system rather than the handset itself, as I know of other android users who have had the same problem.
