Megaflow water heating

We are in the process of having a Megaflow system installed in our house for improved hot water pressure delivery to taps and showers (given that we have extended into the loft so no more headroom available for water tanks etc).

All looks good, and a great relief to have showers that provide good hot high pressure water without the Sherman Tank rumbling of pumps kicking in all the time - BUT....

We have had one radiator starting to leak and the plumbers (still onsite finishing the loft bathroom installation) have warned that where we still have older rads in the house they will likely do the same now that we have mains pressure water pumping through the CH system.

Anybody else had similar? Anyone know what is a reasonable pressure to pump through a CH system (1.5 bar?) and anyone got any experience of fitting a pressure reducer to the CH element of a direct system like a Megaflow?

Don't really want to either (a) run the risk of bursting rads for the foreseeable future, or (b) have to now systematically replace all older rads and CH pipework to prevent it....

This is also the first time this has been mentioned by the plumbers, although I suppose common sense should have warned me that it was a possibility

Our house came with a megaflow system, but as it was all installed from scratch in a new build we haven't had those problems. However, ours runs at 1.5bar when it is all running if that helps.
