What's the best?

I currently have BT broadband with BT Vision & Phone. Now, I'm happy enough with the broadband, but BT vision is poor quality and lacks HD (we're not on the list for infinity in the foreseeable). So, my question is, should I move to Sky? The broadband wouldn't be any worse as it will continue on the BT supplied copper, the line rental is cheaper and the TV selection is better (including HD).
Is it worth the hassle though?

Ho, by the way, we're in an area that doesn't get Virgin Tevo.

We've gone a halfway house if you like - TV from Sky and phone/broadband from BT. (Yes, we have infinity now, but have been in this arrangement with ADSL since we moved into the house in 2007.) We too aren't in a road that can get Virgin.

We (ok I ) wanted HD when we moved here, and at the time that meant Sky or nobody.

OK, Sky's broadband runs over BT infrastructure, but as a mate of mine who runs an IT business which installs networks suggested - stick with the rime operator otherwise if there are any problems you are a step further away from the mob that will be putting things right.

I have also found the HomeHub 3 to be excellent - never had to reset, serves numerous bits of kit simultaneously (eg iMac, 2x iPhones, my wife's work laptop and sometimes an iPad and a MacBook Air plus our printer).

Yes, this arrangement means we are paying more than going totally Sky, but it work for us.
