iPad Advice Required Please

Mrs R has a 1st generation iPad (64GB WiFi + 3G) in excellent condition that she hardly ever uses and would like to sell.

What's it worth, or rather, where's the best place to advertise it to get the best price?

It's gotta be eBay for maximum exposure really.

If you position your reflection properly in the screen when taking a photo, then yes.

I agree with eBay. As long as you put a half decent ad up it will sell for what its worth. The first gen is getting on a bit now but apple stuff holds its value better than most. Looking at eBay you should get 200

I'll give 100 squids for a quick sale though!

There's a fair range of prices on eBay.

Wow - £300 for a secondhand out of date iPad! It's amazing what people will pay. I've sold old iPods on Ebay when I've upgraded to the latest model and I've always been surprised how high the bidding goes.

Good luck to the OP with the sale - looks as though you should get a good price. Just be ruthless about blocking bids from would-be scammers. Check feedback and location carefully and ignore anyone asking for a 'deal'.

The 64Gb bit will push the price up. Most iPad 2 and 3 are selling with wifi only 16Gb.
