Win 10 desktop PC recommendations

Looking for a new device, my tech ‘urges’ and ‘interests’ have declined with age and I find myself quite out of touch with what i-hundredy octa-core throb-a-tron is worth having or not.

I want a desktop, win 10, ideally an office version that runs on it which is NOT a 365 blood-sucking version, wi-fi built in, anything else?

You don’t state your budget. This has a small SSD and larger 1TB hard disk so should be nippyish.

https://www.scan.co.uk/products/scan...ssd-1tb-win-10

If you don’t need Microsoft Windows because you already have a full licence you can knock about £70 off.

If you don’t need MS Office you could consider LibreOffice.
If not a pro licence is usually £240 ish.

A usb WiFi adapter £29 from amazon.

Nice find, I had forgotten about Scan. Aiming four to five hundred so that’s great. Our Lenovo is sounding a bit wheezy and Mrs Pat is doing her usual “it shouldn’t do that, should it!?”* trick so I am trying to dodge Lenovo.

* Anything I buy that herself didn’t want attracts this criticism. 10 years after we got the spider the roof mechanism failure almost caused me to strangle her.

I myself would be interested in these very slick looking all in one solutions.

Already at a 32" monitor so a 24 is a bit of a backward step.
