Airless tyres

No thank you, Mr Dunlop. There is a new idea in development which won't puncture, give a bad ride if it's a runflat, need to be kept to a particular pressure, use stupid TPMs or wear unevenly.

It's also police stinger proof.

Look for Continental contiseal. Limited sizes but an awesome tyre for peace of mind.

From the contiseal webpage "punctures up to 5 mm in diameter (e.g. nail damage) are sealed immediately" Doesn't help when you hit a stone in the verge and the tyre bursts see https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/gene...mendation.html (A Tyre Company Recommendation)

No, but its better than a tyre that can't seal itself in those circumstances that you mention! Mine have saved me a number of times already and still going strong.
