Stopped - Print job was not accepted

My new Brother HL3140CW has been just fine.

Then the other day I printed something, but it didn't emerge. I checked the queue and it said pending. I opened the job and it said Stopped - Print job was not accepted.

Any ideas?

I thought it would have been a tad more open-minded.

I'm using Linux Mint
Was trying to print using wifi
Have also plugged the bleeder in to see if that helps - cos it's an urgent job

No dice.

Yup. It was printing absolutely happily one day, and then the next day it was sacking me off.

Have you tried switching it off and switching it on again?

I don't have Mint, I have a weird mutation which was once based on Ubuntu. I do sometimes get print jobs getting stalled and the solution for me is to go into the Printers application which I find in the Administration menu. Once in there then right-click on the printer and choose View Print Queue. If the queue is stalled then you can click on the "Play" icon to get it going again.

Be grateful for the money it's saving you on replacement ink if it worked.
