Incorrect links

Hi, just trying to read the 'correct alignment' thread in the 159 stickies, it takes me to a newbies welcome thread! Bizarrely someone else appears to have been taken there by another different thread!? Thread link in question is:

Hi, it's in Autoguide free (3.10.49) on android, link works fine on my iPhone (where I get a separate error every time it starts autoguide "invalid license, this forum does not exist" or something when I have the full list of all the forums),

The thread it links to is (note other people seem to have been sent there too!):

So it only happens to you when in the app? Haven't been able to recreate this yet.

Looks like you are using the old version of the app, the license for which expired and we were unable to get it renewed. There is a newer app available, one which we had a more direct hand in it's creation. Link for it here: Free Automotive, Car Mobile App - Apple & Android

This also means that the old app is no longer able to be altered, and so no fixes can be applied to it.

Probably explains why I'm confused! I did check for any upgrades, didn't realise the autoguide upgrade was a totLly different app!

Ok installed new app, but now thumbnails don't work, just show an icon saying ' loading'. I went into the settings and selected show thumbnails, nothing, restarted the app, still nothing. If I tap on the icon for the photos in attachments it is shown in a new window, but not thumbnails

hey there!

When reinstalling the app, make sure you clear the data and caches of the files before installing the new version and app. it can create issues and errors across the board. this should help greatly. let me know how it goes!

Hi, tried this, the thumbnails still don't work (but attachments seem fine when tapped). Also messages, received a couple, the message appears blank in the app. but seems fine if I got to the actual web page on my pc
Thanks

Hey there

Are you on Android or Apple?
Could you give an example of thumbnails vs attachments? Link to a thread for each. I seem to have only come across attachments while trying to recreate the issues here on my app. Attachments for me work as you stated above, click and they show up. Inline images that I came across were only smilies, which showed as "loading" as you stated earlier, but then they load and that's that.
For messages, are these new PMs that you are trying to access, or old PMs? Could you give us a screenshot of what you are seeing here?

Dayle
