Black letter box on image

Since the site upgrade I have been getting a black letter box appearing on images while viewing threads in the image lounge. It seems to be completely random and once I reload the page it disappears.

See example below on Katy's thread

Anyone had the same problem or is it just my computer?

Interesting. I've never noticed it on here, but I get it all the time on here:

Interesting, I had assumed it was on the original pic. I have used some free conversion software before that did that sometimes, but from your screenshot it is straddling the two pictures, so can't be on the picture.

I've waited a while before posting this as I thought that it could be my computer/software etc but it doesn't do it on any other site I've been on.
It is completely random, it also appears on image threads that I have already read earlier, then when scrolling through to the latest post, the black letter box appears? Very strange

I think this might be a browser issue rather than an AO issue.

Can those who have the problem click on the link I posted, and have a look at one of the 'daily picdumps', and see if they see the same thing? I think it might be something to do with displaying a lot of pictures at a time, and they have loads. (Some of them are usually quite interesting, so shouldn't be a hardship )

Only one I see on that link is the idiot who thinks he's the devil, and I think that is intentional photoshoppage

When I get the error, I will post. I did not get the black box however when I looked at KT's pictures of 'Greg'.

I'm using Firefox 3.5.

It's just happened on that site bazza so looks like it could be a browser problem. I'm using Firefox 3.0.11

I take it is putting you pointer over the picture, then right mouse click, go to 'properties' and click on that, then doing a dialogue dump ('Alt' + 'Prt Sc' keys) then pasting into to infraview/paint etc, saving and then posting it up here as a pic.

Not sure if I'm right or how it helps.

Since my last post, I have not seen the black box. Until this morning..

I was not able to get any properties information, as the box did not appear in a picture, however there there were pictures contained in the thread. Also, 30 seconds after I did print screen, the box vanished.

As I could not get any properties as such, you'll see I did a page info box. I'm using Firebox 3.5 on XP.

Hope this helps?
