Thumbs Up Cloverleaf Garage - Gloucester

I just wanted to shout about Cloverleaf Garage - Gloucester.

Pete is the nicest, most honest, friendly mechanic I have ever met.

What a fantastic and refreshing experience it was for me taking my Alfa 147 to him. He fixed her up and made her good for a very very reasonable price.

He knows Alfa Romeo's like the back of his hand!

If you are looking for a garage to fix all those niggly things that Alfa's are made of - Go to Pete. Highly recommended!!!

Can definately recommend Cloverleaf as well. Pete sorted out my 147 last year and now he sorts out all my families and friends cars also. A top bloke and now I would not use another mechanic.

Btw They are moving to Bristol Road in Gloucester near the Ford Garage. Phone number is the same.

What problems did you have john147? I have had just good service and no problems from them. However, It would be good to hear from fellow alfa owners about bad service from them also.

one guy ( who wont be named) on here used to use him all the time like many others and seems to me as he gains your trust then does work that does not need to be done i.e he said his brake disk and pads needed doing so he thought i know my mate can do those for me, so he went out brought the stuff and to find when he took the wheel off the disk and pads were fine ,, i must add i dont re call him doing any bad work tho , so thats a gd thing but i am lucky i can do almost every thing myself so i do other than big things like cam belt and so on,

Spider

the wife just had her 156 cam belt changed and a service done £791.

this included the front pads being replaced and the brand new ngk binned for £2 bosch plugs (£35).

when i saw the car i was fuming, both front wings and the front wheels are covered in oily hand prints.
not the sort of service i expect for this sort of money.

i wish i had seen this thread before using this these people. Other threads make no mention of bad service.

i will not be taking the spider here even though it is just down the road.
