Wash 'n' Wax - Summer might be along sometime
Calendar: Event Calendar

*The times shown may change, depending on DST settings
Event : WASH 'N' WAX

Date : SUNDAY, 11TH MAY 2014

Start Time : 09.30 for 10.00

Venue : EASTERN WESTERN MOTOR GROUP ACCIDENT REPAIR AND PDI CENTRE, EAST MAINS IND EST, BROXBURN, EH52 5AU
http://www.ewarc.co.uk/index.php / http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=East...ngdom&t=m&z=16

Back, for a 5th time, by popular demand after the success of previous sessions. An ideal opportunity to get your bella all sparkley again after the ravages of the winter season and ready for the Northern GT Meet (if you've got a GT of course, ) the following weekend and the Scottish Italian Car Day at Cupar the weekend after that, . So no excuses for anyone turning up with a less than pristine Alfa those days, .

The format will be pretty much as before, with washing facilities outside in the enclosed jet-wash area then into the preparation shed for much dispensing of potions (BYOB) and buffing of cloths (or whirring of power-tools if you've gone all 'high-tech'). If you weren't at the last one, here's a little taster of what to expect : https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/meets...9-05-13-a.html . Again, there could be a challenge 'on the day' just to keep you on your toes, .

A big "THANK YOU" in advance to their bodyshop manager, John Forret ('johnnytheboy' on here) for once again agreeing to host and organise this event which can only help to forge stronger links between them (the dealer) and us (the Alfa community), whilst at the same time being a most enjoyable way to pass a few hours, , so let's try and respond with a good turn-out on the day.

So no matter whether you have an OCD like me and think nothing of spending a whole day buffing your bella, or you simply want to throw a bucket of water in its general direction and spend the rest of the day leaning on the coffee machine engaged in Alfa-talk (or anywhere in between these two extremes), then this is the event for you.

Could you RSVP to this please so that we know how many bacon butties and brews are required on the day,

Little change in plan for me, was going to be the 147 but I will be in the land rover now. Got decals to put on for the le mans trip and this is the best facilities to do it in,

A pretty good turnout today - thanks to all who attended - and an especially big "thank you" goes to John and his team at Eastern Western Motor Group for giving us the run of the facilities at PDI Centre, and for providing the bacon butties and brews mid morning,
