Hopefully the 'Glorious 12th' (unless you're a grouse of course, ) will indeed be so on the weather front, .

Just got to decide which car to take now, although that decision may already have been made for me - see Rant Room, .

Seen the Rant, sorry for the car . Agree with you regarding insurance it will be a fight, shouldn't be but I bet it will.

Not sure if attending this as Knockhill is just after it will decide nearer the time.

Looks more like Scottish Ferrari day to me! Alfa wasn't even mentioned in the write-up! I'm definitely going to boycott it this year!

Can anyone tell me if there are any meeting points for the Hopetoun event or should we just find our own way there? Sorry if I missed this info on another post, I have looked...honest!

Not sure who is actually attending the event - so far there isn't a post relating to meeting points so I think you had best make your own way there

Hope you have a good day - we're off to NAD at Ripon so won't be at Hopetoun this year.

I'm quite sure David will be along shortly and have details of the muster point at South Queensferry before going on to Hopetoun House

He surely is, .

Meeting point for our en-masse arrival at Hopetoun will be as in previous years, the car park at Tesco, South Queensferry : https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=Tes...ferry&t=m&z=16 . As the organisers want us in situ by 10am can I please ask you all to be there and ready to depart by 9.40 latest.

Ta, .
David

hi everyone, I am one of the organisers of the SICBD. Looking forward to seeing you on the day!

In the meantime, just to let you know of a great competition we are now running in association with a top scottish detailer giving you the opportunity to win a free mini detail and paint correction for your car on the day of the event.

COMPETITION: Our friend Richard over RGK Detailing Car Detailing | Paintwork Correction | Edinburgh | Fife | Glasgow has a great prize for one lucky owner of an Italian Car/Bike. As part of his demonstrations at the event, the winner of the competition will receive a mini detail + have any paint defects removed from their vehicle. To qualify for the competition you need to have your vehicle at the event from 10am-3pm.

To enter, just reply to the post on our facebook page with your make and model of car/bike easy!

LINK: COMPETITION: Our... | Facebook

The competition will close at 23.59 on Sunday 5th of August and the winner will be chosen at random the next day. If you have any questions about the competition please contact the detailer.
