AlfaOwner South Scotland Events Diary 2012

Here's the bare outline for the coming year. Not a lot there yet (and yes, one of them is already in the past) but if you have any ideas please let myself or Damien (Dawsub) know.
I'm thinking of trying out a Sunday morning breakfast run like the ones AONS run - what do you think? Also, different locations for the monthly pub meets would be good so we can spread the events around the region, so get your thinking caps on please for suitable venues.

Remember, it's a leap year so that'll be 346 - even more thinking required, .

The car shows and track nights are good for me. Pub meets are on Thursday nights so probably wont be able to go.

Hope there will be some runs this year

The dates aren't set in stone, Aimee. I only 'chose' them all as a Thursday as my OCD forces me to be consistent, . Just like I'm proposing that the venues vary, so too could the spot(s) in the diary. In fact, there you go - you've just volunteered, . Pick a venue and a date that suits you and we'll all try to be there.

Hopefully, yes, there will be some runs, in addition to my Midsummer Madness special that I'm piecing together. All ideas welcomed on this score too.

You'll love your MiTo around Knockhill, I took my MiTo 155 Veloce to the Cloverleaf Day there back in 2010. Terrific fun

+1 on that. The Cloverleaf was great fun in the wet at the last one. Scary but fun

You're not going to be a pretender MartyMito, I've had a Mito for 3 yrs and all the guys and girls welcome you equally.

In the absence of any suggestions for a venue, it looks like I'm going to have to make the choice, . Watch this space - all will be revealed in the next 24 hours or so,

That's a pity, Aimee.

Maybe we should organise the next one in your staff canteen?

OK, so for the March meet it's back to our old haunt in the bar of the Premier Inn at Deer Park, Livingston, just off the M8 at Junction 3 - as always from about 19.30 onwards.

Hopefully, we'll see some of you there - I was a bit lonely to say the least at the one last month, .

I might make this David as I don't think I'll be at anything until the May Cupar event. Also, I want something to take my mind off things as my sister is emigrating the next day to NZ - after seeing her off, some Alfa talk and a pint could be ideal.

Your wish is my command, . Wednesday 18th April it is - now I've just got to sort out a venue. Looking for something around Glasgow / Lanarkshire if anybody has any ideas?

Hopefully a few more can be encouraged to venture out as 'our' second monthly meet found me in conversation with myself again. If anybody turned up after 8.30pm - sorry, I'd got bored by then and gone home.
