Cry Like A Baby Looking for sympathy

Following an incident between a short-sighted,colour blind mororcyclist & the back door of my Giulietta I've just picked up a loan car whilst mine is in the bodyshop.

They've given me, I can hardly bring myself to say it, a very small car made by the company formally known as Datsun.

It is truly & just to rub salt in the wound it advertises the garage on the back.

It going to be a loooooooooooooooong week.

Stll on the bright side I'm only allowed to average 50 miles a day

I hired a wee Nissan Note when I was between cars and I have to say it wasn't too bad and was incredible for space (everywhere but the boot which should have been re-allocated as the glove box)

But when you slide forward the rear seat and drop the floor in the boot it doubles as a garage!

But if you do that you have to cancel the dance you've arranged for the back seat passengers :slaphead:

I got a Citroen C2 courtesy car last year... if anyone knows the hill on Cleveden road in Glasgow, picture me trying desperately to reach the top of it in icy conditions in a car fitted with a hairdryer motor for an engine.. I think the bus driver behind me picked up his paper at one point...

OK after 10 days I may have been a little harsh. I've discovered that this car actually has traction control & a button to switch it off

I haven't tried it yet in case those 80 japanese sea-horses get out of control

Not Looking for sympathy anymore

SHE'S HOME!!!

Got my baby back today & she's perfect again.

Big thanks to the guys at Eastern in Broxburn especially the paint shop guys.
Apparently they are now world experts in 8C Red.

Had a quick tour round as well & they were getting the place all spick & span for Sunday.

thanks Chris,

As predicted it was the paint that caused the main problem. It took a few gos to get it right.

Thats why I sent mine to a proper Alfa workshop instead of the one the insurance company suggested. Thats my local jag dealer. Goodness knows what they would have made of it.

Thanks John. Hopefully I won't have to take you up on that offer.

Thanks again for a good job.
