Goodwood

Good evening all

I received a couple of tickets today for the Thursday of the Goodwood Festival Of Speed courtesy of The Cloverleaf Club.
Don't know if all of their members get this honour...or am I special??

Anyone else from these parts going down?

The Thursday is the Moving Motor Show day where you can test-drive anything you fancy, subject to being able to book a 'slot' for the most popular ones of course.

My good lady and I will be there for all 4 days (Thursday to Sunday). You'll be able to recognise me (from the rear at least, ) so long as the Sun is shining as I'll undoubtedly be wearing one of my 'collection' of Alfa T-shirts with my forum name emblazoned across the back, .

Might see you there then?

Got my tickets also from Alfa Cloverleaf.
Yes, We are going, it should be a exceptional day out.
And yes we are all special in the club.
Have a good day there.

P.S if you see a white Giulietta Cloverleaf doing doughnuts in the car park, it might be us.
(Perhaps Maybe not on second thoughts)

I am going home to stand by the post, as I have tickets for Friday already, and CLC membership.

As it happens, Friday is a 'teacher training' day for my son's school, so I hope to infect him with the petrol disease / bad case of Alfisti.

The ever-expanding empire that is AOSS - must be linked to the Universe and the Big Bang, . When I accepted the rep's position, I didn't realise we'd be covering all the way to Dorset with various points in between, .

Hi All,
I got 2 tickets today too, so maybe i'll see some of you there.
I filled out the slip that came with the latest Alfa book as well as the online cloverleaf link.
Fingers crossed for some sunshine.

Note! If you want to drive some of the cars, don't forget your driving licence.
Last year i was told i wouldnt be able to drive a G QV when i spoke to the cloverleaf club on the phone, but when i was there they said if i had my licence i could. guess what, i'd left it at home.
luckily I was allowed to go as a passenger with an Alfa employee.

I now find myself in the position of being properly fed up!
Can't do the Goodwood thing as the days I would need off work are now unavailable!!
I have asked around friends etc to see if anyone would like them. No takers as of yet so if anyone knows of somebody who would like a couple of passes for the Thursday just PM me.
