Hey folks! Setting up a little road trip this coming Sunday. We'll be meeting at 11.30am in front of the Gala Riverboat Casino near Glasgow City Centre (postcode G1 4RJ). Leaving at 11.45, we'll take the M8 heading through Port Glasgow and Greenock. Crossing over to the A78 coast road down through Weymss Bay and Largs, then a small drive through Prestwick and Ayr town ending up at the promenade or somewhere in Ayr for a light refreshment. On the way back we can take the M77 from Prestwick right back up to Glasgow. Any other suggestions of places to stop are welcome. Hope you can join us!

I forgot I'm working 8-12 on Sunday morn so I'll take a change of clothes with me and still meet you in the car park since it'll take a whole 2 secs to move from the staff car park to the customer one lol.

I'm a total idiot for forgetting hahaha.

I'm being allowed to come after all - but only on the basis that I give the Giulietta a thorough wheels-off clean first , so I'd better go get started!

Meet you at the casino - I presume that's the one next to the Central Station railway bridge over the Clyde?

Hey RomeoRaiderZ! can't wait to see your Giulietta - I'm getting one in less than 2 weeks I'm glad 'she who has to be obeyed' has granted you permission to attend Yeah it's basically next to Central station. It's to the North of the Clyde. Here are the exact co-ordinates - 55.856383,-4.2607 - Google Maps

A few pics for posterity.

Ready for the off from Port Glasgow. The green 147 wasn't with us but happened to be parked there already so we just seemed to gravitate around it, as you do!

Great picture David - you certainly had a great day for it.

Your camera sensor's manky and needs a good clean. Let me know if you need any cleaning tips. Main tip - try a blower first (NOT canned air). If that doesnt work you need some sensor swabs, which you can buy online. Alternatively, take it to your nearest camera shop and get them to charge you £30 for a 5 minute job.
