AOSS mini meet 10th April.

Anyone up for a wee meet / run the second Sunday in April?
A good chance for anyone to join in a spring meet who isn't going to make it to the big weekend run up north.
We've had a quiet March down here in AOSS, I've moved house so been a bit busy at the weekends.....but getting settled now so time to arrange a wee meet I think!

An early Sunday meet up in Stirling, then a short run!?

Could I suggest Knockhill for the opening round of the SMRC season? There are 3 or 4 Alfas racing in the classics?

I know, seemed a suitable Sunday before the North run though.
Its a bit short notice and lots of the regulars are already saying they cant make it so ill maybe just make it a wee mid week pub meet for a bleather anyway!

Tickets are £12 on the day, £10 if you pay in advance. There isn't a timetable of races yet. There are 6 or so different classes and each class races twice on the day, so theres racing on through the whole day.

What you thinking Frank?
An early Sunday meet and a wee run or just a mid week pub meet somewhere central before the big north run?

From Stirling we could just do the Dukes pass for a fairly short run on the 10th.

Or make it the 11th or 12th early evening somewhere around the central belt for a drink and a catch up.

Yeah a wee Sunday run could be in order, will arrange a pub meet for May in between the north run and SICD.

I'm up for coming along to meet you guys for the first time.

If we're going up the Dukes Pass, then I'm more than happy - one of my favourite roads.

Jim.

Yep will do FF.
Got short route notes written up, think we'll do the pass in reverse of the other years runs for a change.
Meeting at the Stirling Services and finish back at the big Dobbies by M9 jct 10.
A much shorter run than usual, with food and drinks available at the start and finish.
Cheers
P
