Aoss xmas 2010

Hi folks,

I'm looking to get an idea of numbers keen to attend events over the winter festive period.

This is a Public Poll with multiple choices available, so please select all or any options that you would be interested in.

For the last two years we have had an meet up and meal in early December and then a Go-Karting comp between Christmas and New Year.

The Northern Reps have decided to wait until after the new year for a festive gathering, so i'm trying to get a similar idea if everyone wants to stick with the usual or try something different this year!!??

I'm thinking a late November/ early December run to an Italian (possibly Loch Lomond, Balloch again) and then arranging Karting again at the new Xtreme Karting site in Newbridge which is due to open soon.

Please post your thoughts, it would be great to see input from lots of members old and new!

Cheers
Philip

I was going to book at La Scarpetta for my birthday recently but discovered that it has changed hands so didn't bother and went to Antonio's in Falkirk instead. Not an 'exotic' location but excellent and reasonably priced food and the main man is an Alfa nut!

If it's after 8pm, then we can be 'cheeky' and use the Pets at Home store's parking directly opposite. Otherwise, there's a large public car park just around the corner.

Here's a linky : Antonio's Restaurant Falkirk for top class Italian cuisine and fine wines

That's a 'working' Sunday for me but I'm sure that I can arrange for an early finish time to happen, .

Providing I can get a shift swap at work then I'd be up for it.

I doubt I can do anything anytime with the gallery getting close to being finished - we spend all our time there

Thanks to those who have voted so far, it looks certain that we'll get better numbers for the Go-Karting in the new year....which fits in nicely for the opening of the Newbridge Extreme Karting Centre!

However its even as I type this for the meet meal date.
I'll make a decision by the end of the week, so get anymore votes in soon!

Cheers
P

Still no outright winner for the meal date.
So seeing as we can do the Go-Karting in January and that we'll probably go for a meal after anyway, I think we should have a wee meet up on Sunday 5th December.

Location -
Broomhall Castle - Menstrie - Clackmannanshire - Scotland
Meet up mid after noon for a coffee and a snack with a short run from Stirling Services up to Gleneagles round in a loop and back to Broomhall.

Sorry David, the 5th is better with the venue.
Was thinking we can do an Italian meal in January after the Go-Karting.

No idea Phil It's taken us that long to get this far, a party is the last thing on my mind! I doubt we'll be open this year. It'll be in the new year now.
