I really need to start firming up numbers for this event so would appreciate if anyone who is planning to attend could let me know ASAP, especially those planning to go on the track.
I will be attending knockhill along with a large group of customers. I reckon we'll have around 5-8 drivers and maybe 10-15 passengers. We already have 4 confirmed with their own cars.
Alfa 155 2.0TS
Fiat Marea 2.0 20V
Alfa 75 2.0TS
Fiat Tipo 2.0 16V
Phil,I`m finishing work at 15:00,and it`ll take me 40mins(ish) to Knockhill,so if you`re needing a lift,I`m sure I could manage to give you a lift? How far away are you from the track? time/distance?
I'll be putting them up in the morning, let me know if there is a particular car you want to see.
It was a cracking evening, well organised, I was a little miffed at having to shell out £10/head to drive my kids around as passengers but as it's supporting AROC I guess I don't mind so much.
Jackie from AROC did a splendid job... three cheers from me for sure
Hi Phil,I got to Fruchie about 16:10 due to slow traffic ,sat at the front of the BP garage on the A92 until 17:05,tried to call you but got a "number not recognised" ,we`ll need to organise things better.
Only managed to catch the last hour due to work, but seen a lot of nice cars on the track, AND in the car park. Wish i had got there earlier as i would have been out there myself, looked great fun
I would have liked to have seen the 156 GTA and 155s in the car park in action , whoever they belong to, and i also hope the 164 was ok as she seemed to limp off near the end. Good stuff everyone who was out there.
The 164 should live to fight another day! The slightly early finish was due to no front brake pads, very hot oil and (only discovered later) no electikery coming out of the alternator
Any pics of my Rosso 155 (angel Tuning) before one of the conrods made a bid for freedom ???
Well done Jackie for a cracking evening and a big thank you to Euan from CP Garage in Dundee for taking one of our younger passengers (Struan) out for a few laps in his 145C after the retirement of my 155..
Sorry for the delay & apologies for the quality... my 16 yr old took these, not bad though, he's getting the hang of it
