Any interest in a Scottish meetup?

Oh rats!- I just typed this out, and its gone off to be approved as a calendar posting! I think it'll be rejected for being too vague!

I was meaning to say; to the general populace;

As things seem to turn over quite slowly on the Scotland-'spotted' section, and as we didn't have the Italian Car Day this year; does anyone fancy a meet up of some kind..?

So, this is just to shake the tree, and get a show of hands for who might be interested in attending such an adventure.

I've got to be honest; I probably can't persuade my kids to spend an afternoon in a field kicking tyres (not that I have a field to hand) but I thought an initial two or three hours one evening, perhaps with a bit of food thrown in, might be a good format..?

If someone knows of a good eatery, with carpark, central to everyone who fancies attending, it might work.

I realise the distances involved for some might preclude attendance for 'just' an evening meetup, so I am open to offers for alternative plans. We could start locally and try and see who is up for it.

If you fancy coming out for something- please shout out, say where you are, and when you would be available and what would be a good event for you...

will we try and scratch together a gathering next week..?

Ironically, the 146 goes in for the third wave of welding on Wednesday morning, so Monday evening/night is good, Tuesday night (after 20:30), or later in the week, but I won't be in the Alfa...

In fact, I think we are going to try for this, on Monday night.

Probably at Hermiston Gait, Martyn & I usually get a cuppa first at the Do-nuts place.
