I cant remember when last I had a build thread, so heres my Swagon build.
Things will start to pick up in the next three months as Im attending the annual show in Kimberley.

I bought Adrien's wagon, while the color is not my favorite I wanted a good base to start off with. So far Ive bought GT Toora's(jetfins), GTA style headlights, black leather interior from a sedan(rear backrest dont fit), side skirts and some stickers.

Coilies in the form of Maxtracs are on their way.

Mechanically Ive only replaced two tyres(might be three soon as I have a leak somewhere) and Speenvark helped me replace a wrongfully diagnosed slave cylinder, my master cylinder is acting up, oh and a very expensive batery. The car is smooth and drives well...slow compared to my previous cars but I like its character...it will be low and slow.

Plans for the coming months are:
Split GTV wheels
Coilies
Bodywork
Fit the rest of the interior
Fit GTA headlights
Fit side skirts
Source a Cupra front lip
Louder backbox
Roof racks and roof box or bike carrier

Looks lekke my bru! One question. Do you get clear or tinted fender flicker lights for these cars. Think it will compliment the clean look of this silver car nicely

Having my car low, I cant get the side skirt to fit better than this! Look at the gap. All holes match up from side skirt to the car, this seems like a base modelthat never had skirts, but the fit is just poor. Like I said, all holes match up at the bottom, there is no other holes to screw into, when I fit it matchibg the holes I get this gap. Is this normal?

Is it possible that it could be fitted the wrong side? Im thinking the front must be at the rear and vice versa.

Thats the thing on other cars they seem to fit perfectly...we followed the available holes...then it came like this

The car drives really well on these coilies...the rebpund could be better esp on bad roads, bit thats fine, maybe I can replace other suspension components to improve it more.

My wheels are a complete F Up...its less than 4 weeks untill the show and Ill never get it done by then. Im rather going to refurb my Toora's.

Does anyone have a bike holder that fits on the roof racks to borrow to me for a weekend please? One that can fit both wheels.

Loiking at the car, it needs a front splitter/spoiler.

Im looking for something Japanese racing inspired.

Ill need to save for this though so its a new year plan/birthday plan :)

Any ideas?

Also the tint...I like the clean look without tint...keep or remove tint?

Im in two minds about that.

Adrien...what did you replace on the front suspension? There is a noose from the front right and the car is unsettled at speed...I put new drop links so thats out of the equation

Never did rebuild Sling, took to mech and he replaced the spring and it seemed to fix the problem...BUT...now that we have a cold front, it seems to be sticky again
