I was hoping nobody would ask, she downsizes from 3.2 busso to 2lt twin spark. as we live in a TAX leeching society, but she has all the lusso extra's

Pistonrod,
Good man!
The TS is fine once the wheels are rolling.
Just watch the oil level (keep her right up to MAX-I know you know this).
They're a cracking car.
At the risk of offending Scortho, I'd stay with 17 inch horsehoes/supersports.
Not as easy to buckle, cheaper to keep boots on and I'm guessing slightly better ride comfort.
38PSI all round on 17s.
Well wear

Thank's Lads, 166 TI 18ins spoke wheels standard on the TI, she very comfortable to drive and great leather seats, all the bushings have being replaced and T belt + variator, no problem for the 2lt twin spark to push this big saloon around. a good clean + polish required, when the weather picks up.

The F/L 166 in Ti spec with those wheels does look great

Kikih had a F/L Ti at a Killarney AO meet back in the day https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/3508689-post42.html I haven't seen any others, rare to see a F/L let alone a F/L Ti.

Not to be a nit picker but was it a 3.2?
I think I remember meeting a guy with one who had tried changing the TB,
engine failed and replaced it with TS.
It wasn't a nightmare honest!!!

Cracking car - best of luck with it. Great colour too. A few years ago, having owned a 2002 (pre-facelift) 166 for 6 years, I was very sorely tempted to import an '05 facelift from the UK. In the end I went for a 159, but I'll always have a soft spot for the 166.

Slightly over six months ownership with the 166 ti, my car has been 100per cent reliable and real pleasure to drive, 166 is such a underrated car. not a rattle and everything works as it should. Car that was designed before the 156, and still stands out from the crowd..
