Port Tunnel Run!! Meeting point now added

Here ya are lads. 20th of December is the date!
Hope to see a good crowd at this. Invite any other alfisti to the event page if you like.

On Friday the 20th of December we will be going for a drive to through the port tunnel, hope plenty of you can join us.
We will be meeting at Connolly Station Car Park @9.00 pm. Link to location below

I have been given full permission for us to meet here. We will then leave the car park in convoy and continue to the tunnel where the toll will be €3.00

There should be plenty of modern and classic Alfas in attendance, hope to see you there.

I can see the phoenix park train station from my house! Stick me down Peter. I'm still carless right now but I'd hope to have something sorted by then.

I hope the V6 boys can make this one

Quick question?
Does one need to be a customer of Gerry's?

If not, put me and a v6 down on the list!

Im a maybe at best, have taxi duties for her xmas party that night.

A word of caution about entering from the m50 side though; the toll plaza can be a pain in the arse if you've been loud in the tunnell (even though you may not have exceeded the 80kph limit)

I read that once on the honda forums but that was about speeding though it that they may get hassle at the toll end. But I've been though it both ways a few times with the single silencer ragazzon exhaust and never had anything said. There is lads saying the same thing on backroads now though. Any suggections where we could meet on the town side before the run? Open to suggestions if it will mean more people will take part

Is there parking nearby the O2 or Gibson hotel? Assuming there is no concert on it could be a good place to meet.

The think about tunnel runs is that they have to be kept a bit under wraps.
The Guards and others are onto these types of "events" and have been known to try and stop them.
Maybe let the facebooks and the lot get the word around rather that publishing this on various forums

There is normally space over on the South Side of the Quays. On the quays themselves, or Grand Canal / Hanover Quay just one block South.

This spot in Clontarf is where me and Mark met last time for our tunnel run.

Big car park and some shops across the road.
