Breakdown tallaght, tow to nearest decent repairer?

Hi - my 159 jtdm broke down in tallaght on friday and has spent the last two nights in 24 hr assist storage before towing to nearest competant repairer in morning. Is seems there are two repairers near long mile road; donohues and agnelli. Anyone got a recommendation as to which one is the best? Tks.

+1. It sounds like you are availing of the breakdown assist on your motor policy. I had two alfa, ahem, problems, on the southside of the city and each time the breakdown assist on request brought each car to TI Autos. Just stress that Gerry Campbell/TI Autos are alfa specialists. Hope you get it sorted.

If they don't allow it to be brought to TI then Donohues would be recommended.

Theyre quoting 100 extra to tow to t i autos. I use gerry myself. 100 possibly not worth it for what may be an egr valve issue methinks. They were most insistant no further than naas road!

Thanks for the updates guys.

Agnelli have it and they're saying:
The Diesel Particulate Filter is erroring
They've checked the timing and it doesnt appear to be a problem
Going to have to strip the exhaust to find out why it is blowing exhaust via inlet manifold
Might take an hour to two hours

Might be so badly blocked and need replacement... I hope not!
