Mk1 Alfa romeo 1750 Gtv

As a some of you know already we're in the process of rebuilding a 1969 Mk1 Alfa romeo 1750 Gtv that had been disassembled and then dry stored back in 1989. We sandblasted the underside of the car and then re sprayed it,and all the suspension and drive components have been reconditioned and replaced some where necessary. The plan is still to have the car finished by the end of July,so time is running out but its coming together well, will take photos of whatever work we get done tonight and try get the photos up by the end of the week!

cant work out hoe to post any photos to here, but sure there all up to date on the page if you folllow the link!

hi lads, sorry for the lack of replies and updates but had only time to keep the facebook page updated. i just spent the last hour or so writing up a complete build thread for the car so follow the link if you want a read.

@cathal,no the car did'nt come from cork.

The photo is of the car parked outside the gates of Farmleigh House, where the car was originally registered to a member of the Guinness' family.

I just take credit for spending hours with tar remover getting the underseal off the bodywork!
Next I have to get a classic Alfa! or a modern one,either will do ha
