My last post

Guys this will be my last post on AO.......myself and a fellow AO member have went about setting up our own site which we will use as a means to developing an Italian car club in Ireland.

I feel there would be a conflict of interests if i was to continue posting in AO. I would hope my account can be left open so i can check in on you guys from time to time

So take it easy guys and hope to see you around soon

Franko, the door is always open. We are all car fans here and we are especially Italian car fans here so I don't have any problem with you still posting in here and please do let us know what the new site is
Best of luck

Gav

Good idea.

Best of luck with the new site.

Just a heads up though, in case it causes any confusion or grief down the line, but there is already an Italian Car Club in Ireland which is active and has been for donkeys years, but they don't have an online presence. Mightn't be any harm making contact with them to avoid stepping on toes and causing confusion between the two groups amongst people; or maybe somebody from there is already involved with the site ?

Anyhow, it's just in case ye weren't aware...

Isn't it NIIMC - Northern Ireland Italian Motor Club?

Nope. The NIIMC are another club in their own right.

I think they might use the title 'Italian Classic Car Club', and the club is registered as far as I know. They attend shows and runs throughout the summer, mostly leinster based.

It's just posted as an FYI, the names are very similar, and it's just a heads up to avoid stepping on anybody's toes or causing confusion. 'Tis a small country.
