Help Anybody in Dublin got Alfadiag ?

Sorry if I'm doing this the wrong way lads but I was just wondering if any Dublin members have Alfadiag and lead for a 156? My airbag lights came on suddenly and I have my nct on Wednesday ! Any help would be much appreciated and I can drive to you if that makes it easier for you. Thanks in advance, Paddy

Paddy- I have the OBD cable and installer CD for the cable it's just I don't have alfadiag/laptop! Im sure somebody on here has the full setup though. Airbag light might loose connection under the seat did you check that?

No I haven't checked that ! I just put a new interior in and the old seats didn't have airbags but the new ones do but I didn't connect them because there's no connections so is it the seatbelt connections I should check? Thanks again

If your old seats didn't have airbags then there will not be an option in the car's loom to connect the seats with the airbags. most likely the passengers seat had a weigh sensor which the ecu is now looking for. if that is the case you'll need to simulate an average weigh person by placing a 4.3k ohmns resistor across the 2 connections of the white plug [ pass sdie ]

My mechanic ended up soldering the connections for the airbag wires under the two seats!

I've the software on a laptop but not the lead.

Thumbs Up A quick thank you

Thanks for the replies lads but Mysterio sorted it out for me, again thank you Rob! It turned out to be the airbag switch on the passenger side (that I still blame on my wife slamming the passenger door!) the clip on the back of the switch had broken so I swapped it for a new one but the fault was still showing on the ecu so Mysterio cleared faults for me . Hopefully that's the end of it at least until after the nct anyway. You my friend , are a gentleman and a scholar! I thank you again

There's been far too little chat about coffee recently...
Dermo has been very quiet on the forum too....
