Its a good feeling... Now to do all the stuff I was putting off till she'd passed.. :mygrin1:

First thing is... Bespoke exhaust. Removing the 2 back boxes and getting a straight through pipe... :evilrock:
Then she's off to the body shop for a full re-laquer, and touch up..

Should be looking (and sounding) good for the meet on the 28th.. :hdb:

If the lights on there are codes there alright... What scanner did you use? Some scanners will only read emission codes etc....

Cars been on my mechanics diag reader, and the one at TI Autos. No faults found on either machine. ABS itself is working fine, hard braking on pebble driveway and the pedal is jumping everywhere.
Tried a different set of working clocks in there as well, same outcome.
Quite a conundrum really..

Ah right... your car is a challenge! I like it...

Out of interest does the 'brake' light illuminate on start up? Or when handbrake is on etc?

Also when you sop 'test' the ABS on gravel does the ABS light flash then?

The ABS unit will not detect a faulty LED light on the dashboard.. It does not care. I wonder if other waring lights are faulty? You said you replaced the dash/clock(s).. the wiring harness itself might be suspect.. Hard to tell without playing with your car....

the problem, afaik, is that the ABS light doesn't come on at all. If earthed it should/will work.

There is a fialure in the controller which prevents the light form coming on.

ABS light never comes on at all, not with the sop"test", not even with ignition. All the other warning lights are working perfectly. All fuses have been checked by Gerry Campbell, and he could find nothing amiss.
It would be handy to get it sorted, once and for all..

IMHO, you need a replacement ABS contoller, try eBay or AutoLusso
