H B Dennis Alfa Romeo

H B Dennis Alfa Romeo.

Well lads I had the 159 JTDm Ti serviced with them the last day, they are a new Alfa Romeo franchise dealer/service center out near the Airport. Exit 3 off the M1.

This was a full service and I had to have the Fuel filter & Pollen filter changed as well, adding almost 150 euro on top of a normal service, ouch!

Total cost inc Vat was 410.00 Euro, very expensive, but overall the service was good, theses guys are very thorough with any car they service, and I was given a loner car as well so I could get into the city.

They still have a few warranty bits to look at for me, but I would recommend them for service.

They’ve given me a price on changing to a 170 Giulietta, its tempting, but I have to weight up the cost of servicing. Having to drive across the country to get service and warranty work done is a killer on the pocket.

As of now the Ti will be for sale, what to replace it with? Well I have a lot to think about over the weekend.

Have a good weekend guys

They used to be an Alfa dealer a good few years back, maybe they still have some of the old mechanics there from their Alfa/FIAT years. My first 155 when new was bought from them.

A service from an official AR Dealer/Approved Service agent isn't ever going to be cheap, especially in the cities, glad you are satisfied with their work though

Not having a local Dealer/Service agent is certainly a big factor to take into consideration alright especially if buying a new car.

PS Not sure about the 159 but I change the pollen filter on the 147 myself, filters are cheap online & don't take long to fit.

Volvo 440

I took a drive out a couple of weeks ago, strolled around for a few mins and all I saw was 1 white giulietta, a couple of Chrysler ypsilions(spelling?) , and all the Ford's.. ahem volvos...
Hopefully it's full of shiny Italian metal soon.
