159 Service Help

Lads I've tried ringing South Dublin Fiat & Alfa Romeo the last two days to book a service, all I'm getting is a busy signal normally you'd get the Auto Answer, press 1 for sales etc. ..Are they still in Business there?

And can anybody recommend a dealer in Dublin for a service, I've some warranty work as well that SDFA was to do for me....

Appreciate any help

Don't know what the story is for SDFA. I saw that a number of their cars for sale on carzone were for sale under a different name- "Alan Kelly car sales" (cars were all pictured in SDFAs forecourt- not Alfas but Audi RS4 / Ferrari 360). Don't know what's happening there. Contact for Alan is 086-0295155 if you want to chance him and see is he affiliated in any way to SDFA. PS I just looked online at Giulettas for sale and couldn't find one with SDFA... another dealer bites the dust it looks like?

As for other Dealers in Dublin you could try Tractamotors in Blanchardstown. Have had no experience with them myself though.
HB Dennis up at Airside is also a new dealer. Don't know if he does servicing though.

Cheers, I'll give H.B Dennis a try and see how it goes, its sad if another dealer has gone..

Its a pain in the azz having to drive round the country to get a service & warranty work done..

Lads thanks for all the help and input...

I've her booked in with H B Dennis out near the Airport, I'm their first Alfa Romeo service customer. New franchise, can't help wondering if I'm jinxed! I got the first and second 159 from Lismard, Auto, they closed, The Ti is from SDFA, and their gone now it seems too...

Ahh well I'll be keeping an eye out for ye all on my trip to the Big Smoke, just need to apply for the visa now

You dont have to go to an Alfa 'Dealership' for warranty. Any Service Dealer can do warranty (Alfa Fiat or Commercial). And there are far more of them than actual Dealers. the only diffecence is that Service Dealers do not 'officially' sell cars/vans.

Fair play Mjet... be sure and let us know how you get on with HB Dennis. Lots of us folk are interested in feedback as there are not a lot of alfa servicing places around these days.
