I want to find a mechanic like that, even with the random hair! (Only jealous as mine has long since gone south....).

Good show though.

Thanks for the 'eds up........

I still find it hard to believe that on an earlier series he bought a 635csi with leather interior, perfect alloys with nearly new tyres for under 350..........

What's the probability of the car in question being An Icon?

Boys oh boys I don't want to get on the wrong side of any of you!
Mike is a bit of a Cockney wide boy but in fairness to him he doesn't try to get top dollar for the cars and does wiggle on the price.
Edd is the real deal alright and I've got some great tips from watching him work....
Only problem is that I end up wanting the car they're doing so the wish list just keeps growing...

Wait until you hear Mike tonight lads.... he briefly attempts to sing opera style You sort of love to hate him though...

As far as I know in the show tonight Mike heads to Italy in search of the Dino... should be a good one. I watched the episode last week where he went to the US to pick up a DeLorean, was pretty good.

Edd is class I would love to own a car he has worked on- he knows his stuff.

Mike Brewer seems to get more excitable with every series, waiting for his head to explode at some point (hopefully).

Leave the guy alone, he's OK!

I love watching the show, I think Edd and Mike are a good fit together.

I never miss it and it annoys the hell out of me. I think Mike is just doing what he is told to.He knows his cars alright. For all that Edd knows his stuff as well, I would bet that none of the cars they "do up" would stand close inspection. The shows that burst the bubble for me were the ones on the Mini and MGB. They did the MG, bought new Ro styles but didn't put centre caps in them, just left holes. WTF. Oh and another thing. You don't shake hands with your mates every time you see them....Somebody tell the director please!

BUT! any car programme is better than the vile soap opera dross churned out twice a night across the channels.

love the fiat dino, and such an interesting car...

im sure people know but for those that dont

Enzo ferrari but the engine and named it after his son.. he built it to enter into i think the le man but couldnt because of regulations the only engines and cars that could enter were production cars. so he game the engine to fiat who had the GT coupe and dropped the Dino engine into it and put the car into production for something like 15000 cars to meet the race regulations.

its also the same engine thats in the ferrari dino which they decided to build after the race... and i think its the same engine thats in the Ferrari Monodial too.

I love the show, but as with anything on tv these days, it's scripted beyond belief.
