What colour should I paint my wheels?

Hi folks..

Going to get my wheels refurbed and have decided to change the colour, have a dark navy blue 159 and was thinking of going for anthracite grey....what do you guys think?

Black is pretty common lately. Go for Grey!

I'm sure someone proficient with photoshop may be able to mock something up for you.

There's a free iPhone app called "ABS Wheels" lets you take a pic of your car, and put different wheels on it.

Way too much time on your hands

Pete- can you post up a pic of the car? Would be helpful to see the contrasts.

Nice car.

Well firstly don't go with black- they won't go with the Navy paint. Its hard to call how the anthracite grey would look, I have seen pics on the GT Blackline from pics posted on on one of the other forums and from that they looked pretty cool.

Another alternative would be to get your wheels refurbed and brighted up on its current colour. Silver does look nice for your car IMO and go well with the chrome door handles.

Yeah silver might be nice...I was also thinking matte black for that stealthy look....

I don't think those wheels would suit any kinda dark colours due to the fact they have so many spokes in them.

if you can, i would leave the spokes silver. maybe a lighter silver like was said, and chrome the lip or the edge. it would brake the wheel up a little more. or even something like a red (bike) wheel pin stripe...

Have a look at the wheel in lacken 156 profile pic, guy in oola done em when the car was mine, nice and bright powder coat.......

But best job would be to change the wheels for something nicer on the 159....

well, my supersports (currently on Eddie's car) are a subset of the horseshoes
have you noticed, that the new Focus and some Lambos have horseshoes too, but a little bit "squarier"?

I think black can look okay on a dark blue car:

Although I do prefer Silver . . .

Glad you're focussing on his.
