My Alfa 159 hunt is over!

Hello all,

So, after much hunting, and much advice from people on here and the other board (the likes of Mario, Lacken, Pendragon and others) I have found myself a new Alfa to replace my ageing 156.

Here she is (hope the link to the photo works):

twoalfas | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

It's the 1.8MPI which was not my first preference of engine but she goes nicely and only has 75,000 KM on the clock. Tan leather interior in fairly good nick, needs a good clean all round. I'm happy!

Thanks for all the help

Simon

Nice one Simon, there doesn't seem to be many around in that colour (i.e. the one that I really want!). Congratulations

I see you still have a hankering after old buses as well!

Very happy that you were able to deal with JOhn, he is a good guy The Tan & Red is very nice colour combination The good thing is that was is a one owner from new, driven the majority of the time by his wife.

The Alfa 159 looks stunning in any colour, but particularily well in Alfa Rosso, well wear. I've had 5 years trouble free motoring from my 2.2JTS. A fine car that should have sold more, if only Alfa had kept developing the it and had put decent promotion behind. Would love a Ti 1750 Turbo in Black with the 19inch alloys.

Nice work Simon, looks like a fitting replacement for the 156.
