As always thanks for everyone who made the time and the effort to pop along today it was great to see some old and new face. Thanks to Alfex for the spin the coop I need one of them engines in the 156 now :D

And to Dave P for taking some pics aswell as CH for the diagnostic check and showing me his fleet of alfas :D

I must say sorry too for nearly causing a pile up due to the fact old women do not know how to use indicators. Thank god I got out in time.

And maybe we could manage something like this every couple of months maybe :D

Wow that's fast..... the new thread that is!! :)

Great to meet ye all again today lads & lassies.. weather was as good as could be expected.. and the cars were looking great!

I've just copied all the picts I have up on http://www.alfaromeo.mobi... under the 'Kinsale 3rd March 2012' folder...

I'll also copy a few onto Davids thread in a few seconds:

EDIT : This one : http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/meet...blic-of-ireland-cork-meet-3-march-2012-a.html

Do you all care about number plates being displayed in the photos? If you do let me know and I'll edited them out immediately.

BTW Damien, that scary lady in the little car indicated left, then straight, then left... there was two of them driving the car not the one... scary stuff.. They looked very disorientated, imo if you hadn't moved off she'd have probably hit you anyway..

Good pics Cathal

Can you blank my plates please

You know how I like stealth mode ;)

PS I think a Cork meet every so often is a great idea, even it's only for a meet up & a chat + the option of a spin

We've just always done it, better safe than sorry.

Or maybe we've just always been a bit paranoid

My Kinsale meet album as been re-instated on http://www.alfaromeo.mobi ~(all number plates blanked out now ;)).

Just click on the "AO - Kinsale - 3rd March 2012" album....

Just want to point out to non-locals, that we didn't go all religious on this run!!:lol: The statue in some of the pictures was a famous one back in the 1980's as the 'dancing statue'... 10,000's of people flocked to see this back in the time to the little village of Ballinspittle... see as follow:

Ballinspittle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

We just thought it was a good photo opportunity.. and after checking the videos taken on the day, it didn't move an inch.. not even bat an eyelid, even with Damien's new exhaust system was pointed directly at it! ;)

Again, it was good to meet new and old friends.
