I used to get mine from my local motor factors (for our 156 2.0 TS).

It used to be possible to get genuine ones from ebay for around £5 delivered.

Was it an Alfa original filter Cathal?

There are a few on Micksgarage.ie- was thinking along the of one of these:

Alfa Romeo Oil Filters | Alfa Romeo Gt 1.8 Ts Oil Filters (1747 cc, from 11/2003 to present)
they are all aftermarket and should be fine but just want to be sure that these are okay. The wix one looks like it will do the job.

Thanks

Cheers Kirk1pac, handy to know. I ended up going into Tractamotors one Saturday morning to pick up a filter as I just didn't have time to pick one up in Ti Autos during the week, damn dealer fleeced me..
