New Dealership..

just spotted this on my way into Waterford this evening.. There's brand new Alfa signage just gone up beside the chevrolet dealership on the Cork road. The building itself looked empty: nothing inside, but I'll be taking a trip up that way tomorrow and take a pic or see if i can get any info..

strange about the one in Limerick..
Clareview Motors posted an insolvency notice last month
http://www.insolvencyjournal.ie/noti...s_Limited.aspx

Notice it's called AAA Car Rentals Ltd. - maybe new management and new money
Here's hoping - at least they've put a few fiats and alfas out close to the road - puts them on display.
Service there has always been good, hope they kept the same staff.

As for the Waterford one...
I've heard nothing but bad things about the Chevy garage there.. hope it doesn't translate to the Alfa's they sell

Dropped in, and had a quick word with them. They opened the day after I saw the signs going up, so I was quick enough spotting them

As well as Alfa Romeo, they're carrying Chrysler and Jeep. Saw the "Chrysler" Delta for the first time (saw the Lancia original several times while on holiday in Italy).

One other piece of info - there's a dealer being appointed in Cork city next month, but no names.

Regarding the dealership in Waterford, my neigbour here had very good things to say about them, having had two Daewoo/Chevrolets for the last ten years, so as usual your mileage will vary.

It'll be interesting to see who gets the Dealership in Cork & if they'll also take on Chrysler & Jeep.

159 JTDm

New Dealership

Nobody has Seemed to heard of where I bring my 159 JTDm + previous 2 Alfas, They are Specialists in Both Fiat & Alfa (But do other vehicles)

I would normally have a go at fixing most parts myself - but the two lads that run
the garage would sit down and show you exactly what went wrong with a specific part (Bearings in my case)

I'm not going to mention the other Official Alfa service dealer where I got the quote of 996Euro but these guys
where able to do it for 640Euro (Less than a third off) + while I was paying and chatting to the owner they already had got the Valet guy to give the car a once over with the pressure hose, but its the nice things, subtle things like that make me return there

Auto Maintenance Services Ltd
[email protected]

Very easy to get to, M50 Exit 5, first right turn

Fair play to you they seem to have some nice cars there from the looks of it.

Not unless they do a phoenix, they closed in June or July
In slightly related news, Wilton Motors are also after closing recently.

As regards the brand, every car parking spot in Dundrum Town Centre Red Car Park has a hologram sign over it advertising 5% finance offers on Alfa's.

They also have a lovely white Guiletta parked at the shopping entrance of Level 2M. Hopefully the cheap credit will help drum up some new sales.
