2.4 JTDs

Well just wondering how many people on here have a 2.4 and which variant of the engine they have. Am wondering what type of real world economy they deliver and if they are 5 or 6 speed box as this a bit of research for an upcoming project.....

2007 20v (I think) 200bhp 6 Speed 32k miles
33-36mpg on my daily routine.
Can get higher if I'm careful - but I think the DPF regen makes it hard to get 40 without driving like a saint. And then why would you if you buy a 200bhp engine... I'd imagine a DPF bypass would help immensely - just something I never got round to doing.

averages 32 around 2600 miles this summer including a trip to stelvio, hitting nice speeds on the autobahns, etc..

Not in a GT but there will be a build thread appearing on octane but looking at the mpgs I think it will be a lightly reworked 1.9 as economy and decent performance is the mission of the project. There is the issue of nearly 40 plus kg in engine weights

Hi
I have a 2002 old shape with new dash, 2.4 JTD 10V. I have fitted a GTA interior, Gt alloys, FSD's and sport pack springs and upgraded the front brake discs. Its a lusso spec car and I bought it in 2010 from the UK. i find its giving me 49 mpg (according to the computer) on a long run with cruise control and35 ish around town.
I would like to re map it and would be interested in vendor recommendations. Also would like a Q2...mmm
